Exploring Hope in Jewish Education

Led by: Mollie Andron, VP of Programs at M²: Institute for Experiential Jewish Education

In this interactive session, we will unpack key findings from the M² Hope Study and reflect on what they mean in the context of Diller’s work with teens, staff, and communities around the world. Together, we will explore how to intentionally cultivate hope within our own settings, whether with colleagues, teams, or participants. Participants will experience an M² hope resource firsthand and will consider how they can cultivate hope within their own settings.

A Time to Act - Restorative Jewish Leadership in Service of Healing and Growth from Collective Trauma

Led by: Limor Rubin Session, CEO, The Honey Foundation

In this workshop, we will explore what restorative leadership means for each of us at this time. What is our unique role as Jewish leaders today? Do we identify as activists— standing against threat, fighting for truth and justice? As healers, caregivers, or spiritual leaders? As builders and entrepreneurs of the new? Or perhaps, are we all of these at once? What is burning within us, waiting to be carried out into action, starting tomorrow morning?

Laughing Matters: Humor & Satire in Israeli Society

Led by: Yotam Wolk Session, Senior Shaliach of the Jewish Agency to RootOne and The iCenter

Humor and satire are a cornerstone of Israeli culture, and an essential component in how Israelis process current events. In this session we will:

Explore various sketches from television programs such as Eretz Nehederet (“A Wonderful Country”) and Hayehudim Baim (“The Jews are Coming”)

Analyze how satire and humor are regarded in Israeli culture and society

Examine the perspectives embedded in these cultural expressions

Explore how these and similar sketches can be used in an educational setting
